Un Anniversaire!
One year ago, my travel partner in crime, Char, and I were traversing along the très très magnifique streets of Paris, cutting our class - because it was the last day of our Eurail travel pass. Can you believe we spent almost the whole day in the Eiffel Tower! When Marcos asked us what we did and where we went, he almost killed me for staying the whole day there when he said we could have visited other non-touristy spots and really discovered Paris. Alas, he was right! How silly of us to have just stayed in one spot the whole day. Anyway, we enjoyed and made the most out of our Eiffel experience that we even met some good ol' Irish folks!

Bershka top, Miss Coquines trenchcoat, Paris boutique boots, bazaar leggings
We've been countless times to the Eiffel during our last Paris excursions but we never found time to go up. We're lazy and procrastinators like that. We have always wanted to go ride the ferry on the Seine river, but that - we never really got to do and it's one of the musts in Paris. You can call us the worst tourists ever, lol.

Since we were spending the whole day anyway in the tower (which we didn't know we would except that we were just too tired from walking), we finally decided to go up. Let me tell you.. it was freezing. But the view was absolutely magnificent and truly astounding. We should have gone up again during the night time to see the difference, but I guess that's reserved for when we go back and visit Paris again soon - I hope.

Imagine how windy it was plus the 3-4 degrees temperature!
Crazy Irish people flooded the Eiffel tower with their beers, groceries for a whole day picnic and their wacky fun outfits and costumes! We met a group of Irish boys on top of the tower who lent us their ever so famous Irish hat!
And we found a very special guest - rather, he found us! Was so ecstatic to have bumped into Dipsy skipping through the Eiffel. Wonder where the other teletubbies were! Never thought I'd get to meet Dipsy --- drunk! Hahaha.

Guess who we saw roaming around the Eiffel Tower - Dipsy of Teletubbies!
On our way home, we spotted a motorcycle taxi dropping someone off in the train station while we were waiting for our train. Being the ever curious tourists we are, the motorcycle driver called us over seeing our amazed faces and told us we can take a photo on it. I gladly and happily obliged!

On our way home from our last Eurail trip ever!

PS - Had to resize photos because I just grabbed them from sucky low-res Facebook. My hard drive with all my Europe photos is sadly non-cooperative at this time!
